The complete card list for Nihil Zero, the latest Japanese Pokemon TCG expansion, has been fully translated and documented following its January 23 release. The set features a dramatic power spike that has the competitive community divided.

Nihil Zero introduces a new card mechanic that allows certain Pokemon to ignore standard energy requirements under specific board states. Early tournament results from Japanese Gym Battle events show the mechanic warping the format, with decks built around it posting dominant conversion rates.

For the English-language market, these cards are expected to appear in a set scheduled for later in 2026. Collectors have already begun speculating on which Secret Art Rare (SAR) and Master Ultra Rare (MUR) variants will command the highest premiums when the English release arrives.

The SAR artwork in Nihil Zero has been particularly praised, featuring a dark, abstract aesthetic that represents a departure from the softer illustration style of recent sets. Several chase cards have already exceeded $100 on the Japanese secondary market.
