Wizards of the Coast has announced the Secret Lair: Roll for Initiative Superdrop, featuring Dungeons & Dragons-themed Magic cards with exclusive new artwork. The collection goes on sale February 9, 2026.

The Superdrop includes multiple themed drops spanning characters and settings from Baldur's Gate, Ravenloft, and the broader D&D multiverse. Each drop contains four to five cards with full-art treatments that blend D&D's fantasy illustration tradition with Magic's card design language.

Secret Lair drops have become a significant revenue driver for Wizards, offering limited-edition printings that command premium secondary market prices. The D&D crossover is particularly notable given the continued popularity of the franchise following the success of the Baldur's Gate video game series.

Pricing follows the standard Secret Lair model, with foil and non-foil options available. Previous D&D-themed Secret Lairs have appreciated significantly on the secondary market.
